Compassionate Mental Health Care with a Supportive Community
At MadCity Psychology, we believe healing happens in community. Our group therapy options provide a safe, compassionate space to connect with others on similar journeys. We offer lunch support groups, eating disorder recovery groups, and creative arts-based groups that support expression, connection, and growth. Whether you’re exploring recovery, rebuilding trust with your body, or seeking shared understanding, our groups foster meaningful connection in a welcoming, affirming environment.

Lunch Bunch!
LUNCH GROUPS
Tuesdays & Fridays, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Join Lunch Bunch, a supportive meal group designed to provide structure, connection, and encouragement during lunchtime. This group offers a compassionate space to practice eating in community, share about your meal, and strengthen your recovery. Just bring your lunch and a willingness to engage.

Meal Guidelines:
We ask that participants bring a complete meal that includes grains, protein, and fats. If your lunch appears to be missing components, we may gently encourage you to supplement with items we have on hand. For those wanting extra accountability around meal planning, please let us know in advance so we can support you more intentionally.

Beneath the Surface
This teletherapy group is for young people living with disabilities—whether they’re visible, invisible, or involve chronic pain. We understand how challenging it can be to navigate life when your experiences aren’t always seen or understood by others. This space is here to offer connection, support, and a sense of community. Whether you’re managing medical issues, mental health, relationships, school, or work, you’re not alone. Together, we’ll share, listen, and support one another in a space that values honesty, empathy, and growth. Every other Friday, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Eating Disorder Recovery Support Groups
Mondays & Thursdays at 7:00 PM (Monday in person; Thursday virtual via Zoom)

This group offers a supportive, judgment-free space to talk openly about the day-to-day challenges of recovery—including stress, anxiety, and the emotions that often underlie eating disorder behaviors. Together, we explore topics like building coping skills, reducing stress, finding motivation for recovery, and rediscovering identity beyond the eating disorder.
Group members are encouraged to check in on their recovery progress, receive support and accountability, express ambivalence, and offer encouragement to others. While we don’t discuss specific behaviors in detail, this group is a place to connect, be seen, and feel less alone in the recovery journey. Each session ends with setting achievable goals to carry into the week.

Let's Create! Art Group
Explore creativity as a form of healing and self-expression!

This monthly group offers a chance to try different art projects while learning and practicing healthy coping skills in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
